Summer Daily Chess Training 2:
July 18th ~ 29th 1pm - 4pm, 3 hours ($40/day)
* Drop off before 1pm, pick up at 4pm
* Location: Westlake Hills
* (near 360/2244) Call for driving directions.
* Snacks and bottles of water are provided.
* Every student will receive a ChessKid training account from us.
- Fun and educational training. Led by a group of advanced chess players.
- Training materials: Beginner -- Chess rules, basic chess openings for both white and black. Intermediate -- Chess tactics, chess puzzles, tournament rules, various chess openings, end games.
- Levels: We will cover all levels from beginner to intermediate (rating under 1200).
- We will incorporate chess videos, chess analysis engines and online chess tournaments.
- Students are grouped by chess ratings, skills and levels.
- Students have a choice of participating in either one or multiple days per week
- Discounts are available for additional siblings: 20% off on the 2nd and 3rd sibling.
- $10 off with 5 days, $20 off with entire 9 days enrollment.
- Age requirement: 6-17 years old.
- Payment types: Cash, check (payable to Westlake Chess Association) or all major credit cards.
